Code of Conduct

Bj SPORT AS is a true believer in fair play. We are pleased to see an increasing attention and focus on ethical trade and the environmental issues. Bj SPORT AS is in the process of formalizing our Code of Conduct with our suppliers

Being a global leader within technical apparel for Nordic Sports and Cross Training we strongly believe in social responsible. The working and environmental situations for those taking part in the production processes of our products, must be sound in order to ensure superb products.

Almost 90% of our products are produced in China. We are aware of the challenges producing products in distant countries and Bj SPORT have employed a Chinese woman who is in charge of our production and quality control. If anything out of the ordinary is detected she is authorized to report these findings directly to the Chairman of the Board as well as the factory management.

Bj SPORT employees, as well as the Board of directors frequently visit the factories. Mr. Bjørn Dæhlie included. The suppliers of Bj SPORT AS must continuously work for the production in compliance with international recognized standards and local laws.

The suppliers must ensure that their sub-contractors also comply with these standards.

Our suppliers, and their subcontractors, allows Bj SPORT AS, or those authorized, unrestricted access to their facilities and to all relevant records at all times, whether or not notice has been provided in advance.

Bj SPORT cares about conditions at the workplace.

Our claim PURE FUNCTION has a deep meaning.  Not only the product but the entire value chain must be in compliances with these values.
